Leaves alternate, sessile, linear, lanceolate or oblanceolate, 20-40 mm long and 3-5 mm wide, entire, usually acute. Corymbose raceme with many flowers (up to 70) lax and up to 20 cm long. Flowers 5-6 mm across, white, pinkish or purplish, usually ebracteate; pedicels 5-10 mm long, pubescent, filiform, spreading. Sepals 4, ca. 2.5 mm x 2 mm, oblong or obovate, apex rounded, pubescent. Petals 4, cruciform, white, pinkish or purplish; limb ca. 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm, oblong or semicircular, apex +/- rounded or obscurely 3-lobed, entire; claw distinct, ca. 1 mm long. Stamens 6, all nearly equal or slightly tetradynamous, filaments ca. 2 mm long, dilated at base; anthers ca. 0.3 mm long, apex obtuse; glands as in the genus Lobularia: nectar glands 8; lateral nectar glands (4) in pairs but short stalk-like; middle 4 rudimentary. Ovary ca. 1 mm long, 2-locular with 1 ovule per loculus, sparsely hairy, style ca. 0.5 mm long; stigma capitate. Siliculae ovate-oblong or obovate, 2.5- 3.5 mm x 2-2.5 mm with persistent 1 mm long style; valves slightly convex, appressedly pubescent to almost glabrous, with a distinct midvein.
